InventiPro HIMS — Hospital Management
One system for patients, appointments, wards, pharmacy, lab, billing and insurance. This guide covers what HIMS includes, how to start, how to set up your hospital or clinic, and the everyday workflows.
Overview
HIMS is sold separately from InventiPro POS, with its own plans, its own sign-in and its own desktop licence. You can have both on the same account.

Create your account
Open /hims/register and register. The free trial starts straight away. Already use InventiPro POS? Sign in and start the HIMS trial from the same account. - 2
Sign in
Next time use /hims/login. HIMS has its own sign-in, separate from the POS app. - 3
Choose a plan when the trial ends
Plans are sized by branches, beds, staff users, doctors and storage, and priced in your currency. Upgrade from inside the app under the plan and billing page.
If a subscription lapses
HIMS becomes read-only for new work after the grace period, and your data stays safe and exportable.Set up your hospital
Do these once, roughly in this order. A small clinic can skip the ward and OT steps.

Facility profile and branches
Enter your name, address, registration details and each branch. Dates, phone numbers, units and tax labels follow your country's settings. - 2
Departments, doctors and staff
Add departments, then invite staff. Give each person a role so they only see what their job needs. - 3
Wards, rooms and beds
Create wards and beds with their type and tariff so admissions and transfers can place patients. - 4
Services and tariffs
List consultations, procedures, tests and packages with prices, so billing is one click at the point of care. - 5
Pharmacy and stock
Add medicines with batches and expiry dates, and your suppliers, so dispensing and stock alerts work. - 6
Insurance and payers
Add the insurers and schemes you accept, and what each covers, before your first claim. - 7
Patient portal (optional)
Turn on the patient portal so patients see appointments, reports and bills on their phone after verifying their number.
Everyday workflows
OPD visit
Register or find the patient (duplicates are flagged), book or walk in to a doctor's queue, record the consultation and prescription, then bill and print.
Admission and stay
Admit from OPD or emergency, assign a bed, record nursing notes and medication rounds, transfer if needed, and keep deposits against the stay.
Laboratory
The doctor orders a test, the sample is tracked, results are entered with reference ranges and published to the record.
Pharmacy
Dispense against a prescription from the right batch; expiries and low stock are flagged.
Insurance claim
Attach the policy, submit the claim with the bill and documents, and track approval and settlement.
Discharge
Complete the summary, settle the final bill with insurance and deposits applied, and release the bed.
Troubleshooting
I can't sign in to HIMS
HIMS has its own sign-in at /hims/login, separate from InventiPro POS. Use the password reset on that page if needed.
A staff member can't see a screen
Screens follow roles and care relationships. Check the person's role, and for clinical records that they are on the patient's care team.
A module is missing from the menu
Your plan includes specific modules. Check your plan, or upgrade to add the module.
A patient already exists but a duplicate was created
Search by phone and name before registering; the duplicate check warns you. Ask an admin to merge records.
Bed is not available for admission
The bed is occupied or blocked. Check the ward board, or discharge or transfer the current patient first.
Read-only banner on every screen
The trial or subscription has ended. Renew from the plan and billing page; your data is intact.
FAQs
Is HIMS part of InventiPro POS?
No. It is a separate product with its own plans, sign-in and desktop licence.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Registering for HIMS starts a free trial with no card needed.
Which countries are supported?
HIMS is built for worldwide use: prices per currency, and dates, phones, units and tax labels follow your country.
Who can see patient data?
Only your staff, by role and care relationship. InventiPro administrators never see clinical records.
Does it work offline?
The browser app needs internet. A desktop app for the front desk during outages is planned but is not part of the current release.
Can patients use it?
Yes, through an optional patient portal for appointments, reports and bills.
