This Privacy Policy explains how InventiPro Pvt. Ltd. ("InventiPro", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in India under GSTIN [GSTIN NUMBER], with its registered office at 141, Laxmi Nagar, Niwaru Road, Jhotwara,Jaipur - 302012, Rajasthan, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the InventiPro desktop application, web application, installable Progressive Web App, or related services (collectively, the "Service"). This policy is written with reference to India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), which governs the processing of personal data of individuals in India.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and login credentials used to create and access your InventiPro account.
  • Business/tenant data: the data you or your staff enter into the Service to run your business — such as customer records, products, invoices, payments, and employee accounts. This data belongs to you; see our Data Usage Policy for how it is handled.
  • Usage and diagnostic data: basic information about how the Service is used, such as feature access patterns, error logs, and device/browser information, collected to help us maintain and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authenticating your account and processing your subscription;
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important account or Service-related notices;
  • Diagnose technical issues and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
  • Comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Our legal basis for processing personal data under the DPDP Act is your consent (given at account creation and through your continued use of the Service) and, where applicable, the performance of our contract with you.

3. Data Retention

We retain account information and business/tenant data for as long as your account remains active, and for a further period of [RETENTION PERIOD — e.g. 90 days] after account closure to allow for account recovery, before it is deleted or anonymized, except where a longer retention period is required to comply with a legal obligation.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share limited information with third-party service providers who process it on our behalf, strictly to operate the Service. These currently include:

  • Payment processors, to process subscription payments securely (we do not store your full payment card details ourselves);
  • Transactional email providers, to deliver account, billing, and support-related emails;
  • Hosting infrastructure providers, to run the Web Application and store cloud-synced data (see our Data Usage Policy).

These providers are only permitted to use your information as necessary to provide their services to us, and are not authorized to use it for their own independent purposes.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The Web Application uses only essential cookies required for authentication and basic functionality (such as keeping you signed in). We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, request your consent before doing so.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for its processing where consent is the basis for processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@inventipro.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with the DPDP Act.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. International Users

The Service is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in India or in the jurisdiction of the hosting infrastructure provider described in our Data Usage Policy. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
